AI Glossary
An approach to AI in which computers learn patterns from data to make predictions or decisions, instead of following explicitly programmed rules.
Spam filters, recommendations, fraud detection and language models are all machine learning. The main families are supervised learning (from labelled examples), unsupervised learning (finding structure) and reinforcement learning (learning from rewards).
